Regulations for the NTHU's student club activities, the venues and equipment managed by the Division of Student Activities during the suspension of physical classes

In accordance with the Ministry of Education's "Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Severe Special Infectious Pneumonia in the 110th Academic Year ", and in line with the latest regulations announced by the command center to amend the regulations for the NTHU's student club activities, the venues and equipment managed by the Division of Student Activities (DSA) during the suspension of physical classes. The relevant specification is as follows:

Regulations for student club activities:

◆  From now until the end of the semester (6/17), student club activities will be mainly conducted online, and the venues and equipment managed by the DSA will be temporarily closed for borrowing to reduce the risk of infection.

◆  If it is necessary to carry out physical activities, only student club offices can be used as usual, and masks should be worn throughout the whole process and a risk assessment form should be truthfully filled out before the activity. Once the epidemic prevention regulations cannot be implemented, the physical activities should be cancelled or postponed. The evaluation form should be combined with the project proposal in the same electronic file for physical activity application.

◆  Physical activities should implement body temperature measurement, provide ethanol for hand disinfection, and limit the density of indoor space to 2.25 square meters per person. Avoid eating and drinking during the activity, and should wear a mask throughout the process (exceptions such as playing a musical instrument can be exempted from wearing a mask but other alternative safety plans must be proposed). Within 24 hours after the end of the physical activity, the person in charge of the activity should fill in the list of activity personnel in the club management system.

◆  The venue of the activity should be disinfected with bleach before and after use (Disinfection spray bottles can be borrowed from the DSA).

◆  The detailed epidemic prevention plan should be provided together with the activity plan

Regulations for the venues and equipment managed by the DSA:

◆  During the suspension of physical classes, the venues and club equipment managed by the DSA will be suspended from borrowing.

◆  When using the club office, food and drink are prohibited, and a mask should be worn throughout the whole process.

  The Student Activity Center (Mong Man Wai Building) of Main Campus:

◎  Opening hours: 07:0024:00 daily.

◎  No entry time: From 0:00 to 07:00 daily, students are prohibited from staying.

◆  The first and second activity centers of Nan-Da Campus:

Article 5

The DSA may cancel or postpone an activity in consideration of the weather, natural disasters or infectious diseases when a student club prepares or holds an activity either on or off campus.

Article 30

The one who reserves the DSA managed venues must follow the related guidelines for special occasions (such as natural disasters and infectious diseases). The violator will be imposed a penalty of 20 hours of school service work and be prohibited from using a DSA managed venue for two months. In violation of the above guidelines will be referred for discipline in accordance with the regulations for student rewards and punishments.

Article 8

If there are any special occasions (such as natural disasters and infectious diseases), weekends, holidays or at any time when the Student Activity Center is closed, DSA managed equipment will not be open for borrowing.

Article 31 Punishments

Under any of the following circumstances, the DSA may issue a warning, suspend club activities, suspend the right for a club to use DSA managed venues and equipment, reorganize a club, or disband a student club:

…A club does not follow the guidelines or regulations when infectious diseases, natural disasters or any emergencies occur.
